What is Boutique School Photography?
Boutique school photography is a modern approach to the often times awkward and stale school photos of yesteryear. With this new approach I’m able to bring a custom, personalized experience to each school and child I photograph. This allows me to showcase the unique beauty of every child that gets in front of my camera.
My goal is to capture your child just as they are. I never force a smile, or ask them to “say cheese”. The result is an authentic, genuine portrait of your child documented in a timeless way.
How does it work?
Pictures are taken against a neutral backdrop for a timeless, classic look. The shoot itself will take only 1-2 days depending on the size of the student body. I provide all personnel and equipment needed for photo day.
About 3-6 weeks after their portrait is taken, each student's photos are showcased online in a password-protected gallery. This gives each family the ability to decide which photos they'd like to keep from the comfort of their own home. The order deadline will be 1 week from the date of proof release. Products will arrive 2-4 weeks after orders are placed. I will personally deliver all of the products to the school.
(I also provide other products such as canvas gallery wraps and digital images for future printing and archiving.)
Are these photos expensive?
I have competitive rates and nothing is due up front, all profit is made from ordering. I offer a variety of collections as well as a la carte options. (I also donate 10% to the schools that I photograph!)
What time of year do you hold these photoshoots?
I work with each school to determine the best time to schedule these shoots during the academic year.
